Directions
Because her position changes with each charter, the practical steps are:
- Confirm the embarkation port with the charter broker (Aqua Marine or your booking agent) a few days before arrival. They will give you the precise marina, berth, and meeting instructions.
- Fly into the nearest major airport for that port. Typical options on the French Riviera / Western Med include:
- Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE) – most common for Riviera starts
- Monaco / Menton area transfers
- Genoa, Olbia (Sardinia), Naples (Amalfi), or other regional airports depending on the route
- Transfer from the airport:
- Private car or chauffeur (arranged by the yacht/broker)
- Helicopter (possible from Nice or other nearby heliports)
- Taxi or private transfer to the marina
- On arrival at the marina:
- The crew will meet you at the agreed berth or reception point.
- ACE carries a large chase boat and tenders, so shore-to-yacht transfers are handled smoothly if she is at anchor rather than in a berth.
