Aquila is an 85.6 metre motor yacht for private charter weeks in Corsica, France, and across the summer Mediterranean. Derecktor Shipyard launched the hull in 2010. A 2016 Pendennis refit, with exterior work by RWD and an interior by Susan Young, recast the decks in silver, dark timber, and white marble. A crew of 28 runs the boat for 12 guests in seven cabins, including a full owner deck with a study, spa room, and a private bow terrace.

Inside, an 11.2 metre waterfall chandelier drops through four decks. The London Bar sits on the owner level, a cinema holds an 85-inch screen, and the main deck dining room opens onto wide aft platforms. Guest cabins are split between doubles and twins, each with its own bathroom. Zero-speed stabilisers keep the hull quiet at anchor. A lift links the main deck to the sun deck so the week does not turn into a stair climb after dinner.

Outside, the sun deck carries a jacuzzi for the full guest list, a day bar, and loungers under shade. Bridge-deck aft is set for fire-pit evenings. The beach club opens to the sea with a gym, tenders, and a water-toy park. Summer weeks run Corsica, the French coast, Sardinia, and Italy. Winter weeks shift to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Costa Rica, and Panama.

Weekly rates are published from 945000 euros in the quieter summer weeks, rising to about 1000000 euros at the top of the season. Winter rates are published from 945000 US dollars. The week is about long decks, a large crew, and time in the water off a hull that still reads as new after the Pendennis work.
