Italycat is a Lagoon 500 based for Capri and Anacapri weeks on the Tyrrhenian Sea, Italy. Built in 2011 and refitted in 2023, the catamaran sleeps eight guests in four cabins, each with its own head, and sails with a skipper and hostess. The week is a whole-boat charter from Saturday afternoon to the next Saturday morning, with Capri, Anacapri, the Faraglioni, and the Blue Grotto as the heart of the route.

The hulls are 15.50 metres long with an 8.50 metre beam and a 1.40 metre draught. Twin Yanmar 75 hp engines, a 40 hp tender, 1000 litres of fuel, 1000 litres of water, and a 280 litre per hour watermaker keep the yacht independent at anchor. Air conditioning, a generator, electric winches, teak in the cockpits, a flybridge, and sun pads on deck make long days on the water easy. Two swim ladders and two deck showers sit at the stern for swims in the clear water off Marina Grande and the south coast coves.

Inside, leather sofas, a fitted galley, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine support a hostess-run week. Four guest cabins have electric heads, 12 volt sockets, and 220 volt points in the bathrooms. Wi-Fi, a 32 inch saloon screen, and speakers in the cockpit and flybridge round out evenings after a run past the Gardens of Augustus or a walk up to Anacapri and Monte Solaro.

A first night can lie off Marina Grande with the Faraglioni in view, then a day for the Blue Grotto when the sea is quiet, lunch in a south-coast cala, and a tender ride into Capri town. The skipper times the hops around ferry wash and the famous rocks, while the hostess keeps the table and cabins ready.
