Nirvana Houseboat Hire
About Nirvana
Nirvana is a 23-metre houseboat moored in Kraalbaai on the Langebaan lagoon. She does not cruise: you live aboard in one of South Africa’s calmest stretches of water, with West Coast National Park around you.
Nine cabins sleep a group of 24. Onshore staff handle the house — there is no liveaboard crew in the usual yacht sense. Decks, a lounge and the lagoon itself are the day. Tender, swimming and the sandbanks at low tide are the outing.
Built in 2004 to a naval-architect brief, she is a stationary base for a long weekend rather than a skippered coastal charter. Langebaan is about an hour and a half from Cape Town.
