Tahuata Sailing Yacht Hire
About Tahuata
Tahuata represents the latest evolution of the JPK 1050, a high-performance sailing yacht designed for both competitive sailing and relaxed cruising. Her lightweight construction and powerful sail plan deliver impressive speeds even in light airs, while remaining remarkably stable and easy to handle.
The yacht features a modern 9/10 fractional rig with a high-modulus carbon mast and a single set of spreaders. Combined with the carefully optimised T-keel and liftable rudders, she offers precise, responsive steering and excellent balance under sail in all conditions.
Below deck, Tahuata surprises with her spacious and light-filled interior. The saloon provides comfortable seating and a practical galley, while the forward cabin offers a generous double berth. A second double cabin is located aft to port, making her ideal for couples or small families seeking memorable sailing adventures.
With a displacement of just 3.5 tonnes and a powerful sail area of 73 m² upwind and 193 m² downwind, Tahuata is equally at home racing around the buoys or enjoying coastal cruises along the Brittany coast.
