Escape Cat is a 39-foot Scape Yachts sailing catamaran on Table Bay. ESCAPE CAT is on the transom, with Ndebele colour on the hulls and a blue mast. She takes 36 guests with a crew of two to three.
The trampolines and foredeck are the sun; the covered helm is the conversation with the skipper. Cruise is about 10 knots under power when the wind is light. She runs from Granger Bay with the same Sea Point–Clifton backdrop as the rest of the V&A day fleet.
Drinks and catering are extra. She is a day sailing cat, not an overnight boat.
