Prismo is a Dazcat 1495 performance sailing catamaran, built in 2016 by Multimarine. At 14.95 m with a 7.5 m beam and a 0.8 m board-up draught, she is a light, fast day boat — not a motor cat.
Twelve guests sail with a crew of three to four from Hout Bay Yacht Club. Cruise is 8–16 knots with a 28-knot top in the right breeze. Two cabins are aboard if you overnight; most trips are day sails along the Cape Peninsula.
