Outeniqua Sloop Sailing Yacht Hire
About Outeniqua Sloop
Outeniqua Sloop is a 50-foot mono-hull built in Plettenberg Bay by Stephan Pepler and launched in 1998. She sails the Knysna Lagoon with a 21-metre mast, a 4 m beam and room for twelve guests plus a crew of two to three.
Teak on deck, a single-level layout and a 1.9 m draught keep her in the lagoon rather than outside the Heads in a blow. She berths at Knysna Quays, next to the Dry Dock Restaurant; a bridge is dropped for boarding.
Day sails only. The story of the boat is local โ built on this coast for this water.
